DU open exam starts today, teachers will help in case of a technical problem
Online book examinations are starting from March 15 at Delhi University. In these exams, students need to take care of technical things like download, upload, password, internet network, more than the answers to the questions. Every time hundreds of students get entangled in technical matters. To overcome this confusion, a special team has now been formed. It includes professors and students knowing the online book exam.
Online book exams for first-year are starting on March 15. In these exams, about 1.25 lakh students will take the exam online. For the first time, this team of professors and students will provide solutions to the examination-related problems of the students of Delhi University sitting in the online book exam. The benefit of this will be given to the students of colleges, non-collegiate and SOL.
The team is formed by Delhi Teachers Association (DTA) and student organization CYSS. The committee includes those teachers and students who have information related to the university examination. In the committee, Dr. Hansraj Suman has been made the convenor and Kamal Tiwari has been made covalent. Assistant Professors Dr. Sunil Kumar, Dr. Manoj Kumar Singh, and Dr. Narendra Pandey are included in this.
Professor Hansraj told IANS, students have been instructed to first go to the University of Delhi’s site and download their admit card from the portal to get information related to taking the exam. Do any work related to the exam with your registered email id. The mail id from which the students have filled the examination form will get the question papers from the same id and have to upload their answer book on the portal with the same email id.
Professor Dr. Sunil Kumar said, it is mandatory to remember your email id and his password before the exam, write it down, or remember it somewhere. While submitting the PDF of the answer sheet, keep in mind that the password is not protected, otherwise, the PDF will not open and your answer book will not be evaluated or checked.
Each question will have a separate PDF of the answer and the PDF should not exceed 7 MB. If students do four questions then they will create four PDFs and each PDF should be up to 7 MB. Kameti Tiwari, co-convenor of the committee said that students will get 3 hours to complete their question paper while giving information related to the OBE examination and One hour will be available for uploading.
PWD (People with Disability-Disabled) students will get a total of 6 hours. Students are informed that students should use the uploading time only in uploading otherwise the network problem arises many times at the last minute due to which the answers are unable to be uploaded, so students should take special care of time.
While taking the exam, at every stage you have to take proofs by taking screenshots. Screenshot of the question paper, you have to keep a screenshot of the submission of the PDF of the answer to each question. If the acknowledgment receipt of the submission comes, then take a screenshot of it and keep it safe as sometimes the university may ask for proof of PDF and submission of answer sheet from the college students if the upload is not reached properly.
All these screenshots and proofs will help you even if the wrong test result comes. After the submission of all four PDFs, when the submission is received, you will know that the papers have been submitted.
